Tavern Supervisor

  • $84,511 + super
  • 14 days on and 7x days off rotating day/night roster
  • Accommodation and meals provided
  • The role is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions

We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tavern Supervisor to join the team at Buffel Park Village or Eureka in the Moranbah region. 

The Position

You will be responsible for leading a team within our bar and retail departments to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.

You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside with management to achieve desired results.

Your role will consist of an array of tasks including but not limited to cleaning, serving alcohol, restocking retail, restocking alcohol, customer service, housekeeping & kitchen work if required.

The Person

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
  • Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
  • Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
  • Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
  • RSA and Venue license with at least 2x years experience in a similar role.
