The Position

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager to develop and convert event concepts, ensuring smooth planning and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Conduct site visits, follow up with clients, create detailed event documentation, and evaluate post-event outcomes.
  • Coordinate with event operations and kitchen teams for seamless handovers and execution of functions.
  • Partner with preferred suppliers, nurturing strong relationships to support event needs.
  • Build client networks and relationships to promote and grow functions at both Zoo locations, delivering memorable service.

The Person

  • Proven track record in event sales and planning, including corporate functions and large-scale gatherings.
  • Experience working in large venue settings, providing insight into logistical challenges and event management considerations.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a function venue, catering, hospitality, or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with effective team coordination of staff, vendors, and volunteers during event execution.
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, and proficiency in event management software or IT tools.
