THE POSITION
- Supplier communication in regard to product information and availability
- Monitoring of Purchasing email and communication channels for out-of-stock products
- Support communications between internal stakeholders such as chefs and operations teams when products are short or substituted.
- Support and liaise with internal stakeholders to create new products in MyOrders.
- Responsible for raising tickets to amend existing products.
- Prepare daily Supplier Delivery Summary checklist of suppliers and their purchase orders.
- Monitor and print Task Stock Requests.
- Support event desk personnel on event days.
- Enter stock movement in and out into Task for accurate tracking.
- Ensure accurate and on time documenting of ‘write offs.
- Responsible for tracking sheet with stock lines.
- Responsible for compiling and reviewing weekly reports from Task.
- Support EOP processes with best practices in lead up to period end.
- Adhoc support for purchasing manager.
THE PERSON
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
- Able to work in an agile environment.
- Hard working, professional, organised and takes pride in what you do.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a high-paced procurement/purchasing environment
