Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader

  • $78,166 Base Salary + Super
  • Accommodation and meals provided 
  • Bus in bus out from Mackay or Drive in drive out from Central QLD areas (no FIFO available)

Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for kitchenhands across 2 Villages working 14x7 rosters (14 days on, 7 days off).

Motivated and driven Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader required to lead our successful remote catering team on our mining accommodation villages in Central Queensland.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader to join the team at Eureka Creek Village. The roster is 14x7 working 10 hour shifts. This role is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions.

The Position

You will be responsible for leading a team within our catering department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.

You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results.

The Person

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
  • Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
  • Desirable knowledge of HACCP
  • Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
  • Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
