Due to growth and expansion of our services, we are excited to be launching a new site under our Restaurant Associates sector in Brisbane CBD! We’re on the hunt for an experienced Head Chef to lead a premium corporate catering operation! This full-time role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-end dining experiences.

You’ll be leading culinary operations for a prestigious corporate client, focusing on fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events—Monday to Friday, with occasional evening functions.

THE POSITION: 

  • Assist and oversee food production and menu-based catering 
  • Ensure contract compliance is met and understanding of the scope of work required (including all OH&S compliance)
  • Lead, mentor and create a positive work culture
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, staff mentoring and training both front and back of house
  • Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
  • Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives

 THE PERSON:

  • Kitchen leadership experience is essential
  • Minimum Cert 3 Commercial Cookery qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience with full P&L Management and Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills 
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of customer focused service (this is also a client facing role
  • Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
