Attendant - Utility - Kitchen/Catering

Location: Site-Based – Compass Group
Employment Type: Casual Site Based
Roster: 4 days on / 3 days off (Monday to Thursday)

Compass Group is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Utility Attendants – Catering to join our site-based casual team. This role is ideal for local candidates looking to gain experience in the mining and hospitality sector while working a consistent 4/3 roster. As a Utility Attendant, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction across site facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, plating, and service during meal periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure utensils and crockery are cleaned and stored appropriately.
• Restock food and beverage stations and monitor supplies.
• Support stock rotation and assist with deliveries and storage.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to site personnel.
• Follow Compass Group’s food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with general utility tasks as required, including basic cleaning and waste disposal.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or utility roles (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
