The Position
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment & Mobilisations Team Leader to oversee and deliver recruitment ramp-up programs for all new contract mobilisations across Compass Group Australia sectors, as well as manage workforce demobilisation activities for contracts that have concluded.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia and will work closely with operational leaders, HR, and recruitment teams nationwide to coordinate workforce planning, optimise mobilisation processes, and deliver an exceptional experience for candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
You will be responsible for ensuring seamless end-to-end recruitment and mobilisation processes, meeting critical start dates, and supporting our operational teams during both onboarding and offboarding phases of the contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment and mobilisation programs for new contract start-ups across all CGA sectors, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

Manage demobilisation programs for contract transitions, ensuring compliance, workforce redeployment opportunities, and smooth operational handovers.

Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing, screening, compliance, pre-employment checks, and site readiness.

Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to the recruitment and mobilisation team.

Develop and implement best-practice mobilisation frameworks, tools, and reporting.

Partner with operational managers and business leaders to align workforce solutions with contract needs.

Track and report on recruitment, mobilisation, and demobilisation progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all recruitment and mobilisation activities.

Travel interstate as required to support major mobilisation and demobilisation projects.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident leader with a proven track record in large-scale recruitment and mobilisation project delivery, ideally within high-volume, fast-paced industries.

Demonstrated experience leading recruitment and mobilisation programs, preferably in multi-site or national operations.

Strong understanding of compliance, onboarding, and workforce transition requirements.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.

Experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, and recruitment analytics.
