FIFO Trade Assistant

• Helping out our existing Facilties Maintenance Team on our existing DeltaFM sites

Our end to end facilities management and project management services ensure that your infrastructure is put in place smoothly and efficiently.

We are seeking internal team members that are eager to take on the role of Trade Assistant within Compass Group Australia, Delta FM portfolio. The role will be conducting maintenance tasks & assisting other trades on our remote accommodation villages. As this role is Casual, only current Casual Team members with Full Working Rights will be considered. Work days are 12 hours, comprising of 11 hours worked + 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak.

$33.28 Gross + Penalties + Super 

THE POSITION

• Reporting directly to our QLD Scheduler
• Conducting general maintenance tasks on our Delta FM sites to keep our Accommodation Villages operational and safe
• Working amongst an established Trades team including Electricians, Plumbers, Refrigeration Technicians & Maintenance Managers
• Working away for up to 14 Days at a time, and being home for a minimum of 7 Days for R&R. Works can be across any of our sites across QLD

THE PERSON

• Current Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence, White Card & Australian National Police Check within 12 months
• Full Working Rights within Australia
• Proven experience that you are well-versed in maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
• Trade Assistant &/or Experience in working with power and hand tools is a must
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Access to FIFO from Brisbane Airport
