The Position

  • Manage stores and inventory by receiving, inspecting, recording goods, conducting stocktakes, and maintaining storage areas.
  • Coordinate timely deliveries, liaising with suppliers and internal teams for efficient logistics.
  • Support procurement processes, including processing purchase orders and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and OH&S standards through regular checks, audits, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, compliance documentation, and generate reports on stock and expenditure.
  • Assist with operational logistics and support safety initiatives to promote a secure and efficient work environment.

 The Person

  • Forklift license (LF)
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, or inventory coordination roles.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication, people skills, and team collaboration.
  • Physically fit with manual handling ability
  • Knowledge of environmentally sensitive or zoological settings and sustainability practices.
  • Solutions-focused, adaptable under pressure, and committed to animal welfare and conservation.
