THE POSITION

  • Lead a high performing and dynamic team across retail, residential dining, functions and off-site catering for camps and sport
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships to achieve business objectives
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement and satisfaction, adapting to feedback and evolving
  • Be across the commercial aspects of this contract and drive success to meet KPI’s for client and Compass Group Australia
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve service delivery
  • Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers
  • People centric role, develop every team member by listening, coaching, supporting and encouraging them to optimize performance.

THE PERSON

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Food and Beverage management
  • Must hold a positive QLD Working with Children Blue Card or have the ability to obtain one
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with expertise in both people and operational systems across multi outlet operations
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse P&L reports, and provide strategic insights
  • Broad experience and a flexible approach to adapting to different challenges and environments
  • Excellent ability to engage with students and build strong, lasting client relationships
  • A hands-on leader who thrives to inspire, mentor, and support your team to reach their full potential, creating a positive and motivated work environment.
