The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to support our administration team at Bay Village in Karratha. You'll be part of a team charged with providing support services in hospitality and to ensure that the village works at optimum occupancy levels. A large part of this role will include ensuring daily tasks and procedures are followed, providing support to the administation supervisor and managing a complex reservation system to ensure a high level of room occupancy is maintained and the best accommodation experience for our guests. Other areas include daily housekeeping schedules, flights, logging and tracking maintenance requests, some site financials and roster management.

This role is for Karratha residents only working a 10 days on, 5 days off (12 hour days).

Key duties

  • Managing staff rosters and organising flights and accommodation. 
  • Undertake core operational administrative data entry and reporting functions as required.
  • Provide support to Site Management.
  • Liaise with clients and travel bookers, where required.
  • Managing daily reservations and allocation of rooms to optimise occupancy.

The Person

  • Exposure and prior experience with RMS room management system is highly desirable.
  • Previous planning/scheduling experience preferable in an accommodation environment.
  • Good understanding of excel operation and ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work in a time-pressed environment.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Capacity to think outside the box, bringing new ways of doing things
