The People Services Coordinator role reports directly to the People Partner Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support and enhance our HR administration processes, contribute to improving employee services, and ensure seamless integration within our larger team-oriented environment at The Star Gold Coast.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our workforce is engaged, well-supported, and aligned with the company’s vision of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Maintain HRIS, manage team member and new starter records, and ensure efficient handling of data and systems; provide support for system inquiries and improve team efficiency
  • Provide accurate administrative support for all employee information management (contracts, global mobility, employment statement and service)
  • Prepare and issue employment agreements and amendments as required
  • Support with iConnect (HRIS) Onboarding to collect, review, and process information, documentation from applicants and team members, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve People Services queries and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory, and regulatory requirements

What we will be looking for:

  • HR experience in a similar role within a complex organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high workloads and conflicting deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage high volume workloads
  • Understanding of Australian workplace legislation, particularly around employee agreements and movements
  • Self starter, able to work unsupervised
