As a Property Operations Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the Dorsett Hotel. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, addressing day-to-day operational issues, and maintaining the overall safety, functionality, and presentation of the property to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

A few of your responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, minimising downtime and ensuring business continuity
- Conduct regular inspections, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed, adhering to strict quality and safety protocols
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
What are we looking for
- Recognised trade qualification
- Proven experience in maintenance, and repairs in a commercial or industrial setting
- Ability to identify hazards and risks and provide appropriate control measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
