As the Count Manager, you'll lead our count room operations at The Star Gold Coast, ensuring accurate processing of gaming revenue while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with various departments to support smooth daily operations.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate count room activities and team member scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal procedures
  • Prepare detailed reports and reconcile gaming revenue
  • Maintain security protocols and audit trail documentation
  • Collaborate with Gaming, Security, and Finance teams as required
  • Lead the recruitment, training and development of the Count team

What we will be looking for:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within gaming, preferably in a Count Room environment
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of cash transactions accurately
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach teams
  • Thorough knowledge of the compliance requirements relating to the Casino Control Act 1982, associated Legislation and the System of Accounting and Internal Control
  • Availability for early morning starts Monday to Friday
