The Star Sydney is looking for a Senior Manager, Communications & Change to lead key transformation initiatives and support cultural change across the business. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to deliver change programs, starting with the Remediation Program, ensuring they are clearly communicated, well planned, and successfully adopted. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll manage internal communications, support engagement activities, and help bring our strategy and values to life for team members, driving real business outcomes.

Drive Communication and Engagement Plans: Create and execute targeted communication, engagement, and training plans to support change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cultural transformation goals.

Enable Organisational Readiness and Adoption: Conduct readiness assessments, manage resistance, and enable faster adoption and proficiency of change across impacted teams to achieve business outcomes.

Provide Strategic Internal Communications Support: Advise the COO and property leaders on internal communications, helping bring strategy, priorities, and values to life for team members.

Manage Internal Communication Channels: Oversee property-specific channels including Town Halls, newsletters, intranet, Facebook, and Leader Forums, ensuring content is aligned with group and local priorities.

Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with project managers, HR, training, and communications teams to integrate change management activities into all relevant projects and initiatives.

Demonstrated capability across all core change management disciplines, including strategy development, stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, readiness planning, and benefit realisation, applied across the full project lifecycle.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver clear, engaging messaging that drives understanding, alignment, and cultural transformation across diverse teams.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to align change and communication strategies with business goals. Able to constructively challenge the status quo, advocate for change, and motivate others through transformation.
