Reporting to the General Manager Asset Protection, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Asset Protection risk and compliance requirements as they relate to Security, Crowd Management, Emergency Management and Asset Protection Systems.

About The Role:

  • Oversee critical incident reviews and serious regulatory breaches
  • Represent the Asset Protection Department at periodic RSA, Exclusion Committee, QLD Police, OLGR, Property Leadership and industry meetings
  • Manage and oversee public liability investigations and claims handling in consultation with the Legal Department and independent insurance advisors
  • Partner with the Legal and Regulatory teams to oversee the collation of supporting documentation and material in response to any show causes, notices to produce or subpoenas
  • Work with the General Manager Asset Protection, Senior Manager Security Development and Capability and Security Training Manager on learning and development activities to enhance guest experience and customer service standards

About You:

  • Current QLD Security Industry Licence
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Advanced Conflict Resolution and Incident Management
  • Considerable experience in management preferably within the Casino or Security industry.
  • Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular, Casino Control Act and regulations, Liquor Act, Security Industry Act and Crimes Act.
