The Recreation Supervisor, reporting to the Front Office Manager, supervises and coordinates all operational aspects of the Health Club and Darling Pool, ensuring a positive experience for all guests whilst actively promoting The Star Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Health Club and Darling Pool.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Lead the team to ensure the daily operations of the department promotes positive guest relations and a welcoming environment
• Demonstrate to guests and team members a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of The Star Sydney’s values
• Foster a winning, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guests
• Assist the wider hotel team to develop and implement guest service and industry best practices, policies, procedures and operating standards
• Manage all new and existing departmental maintenance projects
• Oversee preparation of rosters for the department

 What we are looking for:

• Supervisory experience in customer service role or within the fitness industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual/multilingual advantageous
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate and RSA
