The Property Operations Contracts Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager Property Operations, oversees the execution and management of all critical infrastructure through contract-related services and obligations. This role ensures the department's daily operations align with the company's overall objectives.

A few of your responsibilities
- Ensure all scheduled maintenance work carried out by contractors is completed on time and to a high standard
- Play a key role as a member of the Property Operations leadership team developing and executing the business unit’s operational plan
- Manage and oversee all facilities related maintenance contracts, quality assurance needs, ensure compliance, performance, and value for service
- Review and monitor preventative maintenance plans provided by contractors to meet building compliance requirements
- Take ownership of critical infrastructure, working closely with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure operational reliability
- Coordinate, prioritise, and schedule maintenance work with contractors, aligning with the business needs of internal departments
What we are looking for
- Experience in FM Contractor management and administration
- Trade certificate / tertiary qualifications in building construction or maintenance
- Experience with Critical Service Assets
- Working knowledge of hotel and building/resort facilities
- Knowledge of operating/capital budgets
About you
You will be a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of Facilities Management. With a strong background in building (large scale) maintenance management, you’ve built a track record of delivering high-performing, quality assured service contracts that drive value, compliance, and efficiency.
Whether it’s managing vendor relationships, negotiating service agreements, or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across a portfolio, you bring clarity, consistency, and cost control each day.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Property Operations department at The Star Sydney.
