As a Gaming Operations Manager, you will be central to executing departmental objectives, driving cultural transformation, and building team engagement. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gaming floor, ensuring operational excellence, and driving customer satisfaction to new heights

This is a fantastic opportunity for a current team member with leadership experience to continue to learn and develop their career in a Gaming Operations Manager role for an initial six-month secondment.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profit in premium gaming markets.
  • Formulate plans to maximise revenue and minimise costs, meeting budget targets and driving growth.
  • Manage labour costs and operating expenses, ensuring operational efficiency and profit objectives, including staffing level reviews and gaming mix management.
  • Oversee team engagement, performance, and development, including coaching, mentoring, and handling team relations and disciplinary processes.
  • Support team skill-building for career development and foster positive teamwork and engagement.
  • Implement strategies to achieve guest engagement targets, enhance service quality, and build guest loyalty.
  • Handle guest queries and gaming disputes in compliance with OLGR regulations, delivering exceptional service aligned with our values.
  • Ensure Gaming Operations comply with all statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures, including Responsible Gambling and Responsible Service of Alcohol.

What are we looking for:

  • Table Games and Electronic Gaming leadership experience with exposure as a Gaming Area Manager
  • Demonstrated application of The Star’s PVP in all aspects of your role as a leader
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong understanding of relevant statutory regulations and reporting requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Currently hold a KE (Key Employee) license
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster

During this 6-month secondment, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership experience while gaining invaluable Gaming Operational knowledge.
