Join the School of Education and Culture as a Research Fellow and play a leading role in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project, Hitting the Limits: Intersectional Sexisms in Australian Universities. You will contribute to data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination, producing high-quality publications and presentations while supporting the project's aim of improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
You will also contribute to the broader research environment through developing funding proposals, supervising research support staff and higher degree research students, mentoring junior researchers, undertaking research-related administration, participating in professional activities and conferences, and making occasional contributions to teaching within your area of expertise.
As the successful candidate, you will hold a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or demonstrate equivalent research experience, with a strong track record of research publications and experience conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research. You will have demonstrated experience undertaking research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities using Indigenous methodologies and culturally responsive approaches, together with a strong understanding of Indigenous Data Sovereignty, Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property, relational accountability and ethical research practice.
You will be a collaborative and organised researcher with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
