The Opportunity
The Student Conduct and Complaints team has an opportunity for a Student Conduct and Risk Specialist.
The Student Conduct and Risk Specialist applies high-level judgement, decision-making and investigative expertise to provide a range of specialist advisory and administrative services in order to support the general misconduct and risk functions.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for contributing to strategic planning and the achievement of business unit and university goals relevant to the university-wide Student Conduct and Complaints function, in accordance with University Statutes, regulations, policies and procedures. Further, you will undertake complex investigations, prepare reports, communications and outcomes in relation to student misconduct matters and make recommendations to management and other stakeholders as required on appropriate courses of action.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in law, criminology or psychology, and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
