The Opportunity

Rich Experiences has an opportunity to join the team as an Assistant Lecturer (Education-Focused) or a Lecturer (Education-Focused).

The position will help deliver Monash’s Rich Experiences programs in alignment with Impact 2030 by designing, facilitating and continuously improving high-quality in-curriculum and co-curricular learning that is interdisciplinary, experiential and globally engaged. Working as part of the Rich Experiences team, the role contributes to the University-wide Flagship Rich Educational Experiences (FREE) units — the Global Immersion Guarantee (GIG), the Monash Innovation Guarantee (MIG), and  Research Experimentation & Discovery (RED) — by co-creating and delivering learning experiences with faculties, academic program directors and external partners.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for scaling inclusive, safe and impactful pedagogy that develops students’ capabilities to collaborate across disciplines, organisations, locations and cultures to have a positive impact in society, while meeting program quality standards and strategic outcomes for the University.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires an honours degree or higher qualifications in the relevant discipline and/or progress towards a doctorate in the relevant discipline; or a doctorate in the relevant discipline or a closely related field.
