The Opportunity
This exciting 12 month opportunity as an IT Service Centre Team Leader is a critical player in the delivery of IT services to our customers. Leading the daily operations of a dynamic team of front-line IT support specialists, and working closely with the Service Desk, this role is key to ensuring that every customer interaction is timely and productive.
Team Leaders contribute to business escalation and account management processes for their clients – ensuring that the right services are delivered promptly and to a high standard. The Team Leader is also a focal point for major change implementations for their customer groups.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision and administration of the delivery of high-quality technical support, according to best practice and/or service level agreements and in accordance with university policies, procedures and strategic priorities.
Providing leadership, supervision and guidance to team members including; work prioritisation, coaching and mentoring, performance development, guidance on compliance with University policy and procedure and encouraging a strong customer focus.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in leading and overseeing a successful function, administrative processes or service, with a focus on delivering excellence in customer service.
