Remuneration: $120,138 - $132,610 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director Staff Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, this role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team working to advance equity, inclusion and belonging for Monash staff. With a focus on promoting inclusive workplace practices across the entire employee lifecycle, you will help enhance equity, foster a sense of belonging and contribute to shaping a culture where all staff can thrive.

  • Proven ability to cultivate trust and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Project management skills with emphasis on impact and ensuring compliance
  • Outcome-oriented and values-driven approach, bringing a strategic and adaptable mindset to your work
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on inclusive practice, supporting the development of staff-focused EDI initiatives and strategies
  • Driving the implementation of HR-led actions across multiple EDI-related action plans and monitoring progress
  • Collaborating with HR teams and stakeholders to embed inclusive practices across the employee lifecycle
  • Managing EDI-related projects, reporting on impact and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislations
  • Facilitating consultations and engagement activities to build awareness and capability
