Remuneration: $120,138 - $132,610 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Take on a pivotal role as Operations Manager and drive the seamless delivery of the School’s core functions. Overseeing HR, finance, health, safety, infrastructure and space, you will ensure operations align with University priorities and support the School’s ambitious goals. With responsibility for leading-edge diverse research facilities including BrainPark, the Turner Clinics and the Sleep and Circadian Medicine Laboratory, your leadership will directly enable research and training that creates meaningful impact.

This role offers the chance to lead a skilled operations team, manage complex projects and provide expert advice that shapes strategic decision-making. You will coordinate space planning, refurbishments and relocations, oversee risk and compliance and deliver operational initiatives that create a supportive environment for staff, students and researchers to thrive.

The position calls for strong operational management expertise, postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience and highly developed leadership, planning and organisational skills. Your ability to interpret legislation and policy, manage resources effectively and motivate a high-performing team will be key to your success.
