The Opportunity

The Monash Energy Institute Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic administrative and coordination support to enable the effective delivery of the Institute’s programs, initiatives and objectives. This role plays a key part in supporting the operational needs of the Management and Leadership Team while contributing to the Institute’s overall success through the coordination of projects, events and stakeholder engagement.

The role provides comprehensive support through the coordination of complex operational systems, including scheduling, project oversight, and resource allocation to ensure the smooth execution of Institute activities. You will support governance functions, manage event logistics, prepare financial reports, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The role also oversees data management, offers timely advice, and fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate expertise in managing workflows, process development, and operational planning within complex environments. You will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis, financial systems, and business software to support efficient operations. Highly-developed communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders will be essential, along with a focus on service excellence and sound decision-making.
