The Opportunity

Join the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (MNHS) as Senior Strategic Research Development Manager and manage major support programs for competitive external funding schemes such as NHMRC and ARC. The position plays a central role in research reporting and analytics that inform strategic decision-making across the Research portfolio and other Faculty areas, supporting the advancement of MNHS priorities in health and medical research.

The role oversees a broad range of strategic and operational activities, including planning, initiative development and evaluation of Faculty projects and opportunities. Working closely with colleagues across the Faculty and University, the position produces data-driven reports and internal proposals that position the faculty to respond effectively to an evolving research landscape.

Success in the role requires postgraduate qualifications with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and management expertise. The position also draws on extensive knowledge of competitive research funding, strong analytical and conceptual capability and highly developed skills in reporting, communication and relationship management.
