Student & Education Business Services (SEBS) delivers essential operational, administrative and academic services to the University community, with a focus on data and innovation. Our services enable the student lifecycle and allow students and academics to focus on teaching, learning and research. We support education activity and ensure university compliance with regulatory frameworks.
The Opportunity
The Strategic Operations and Business Support team is currently seeking a Senior Data and Innovation Analyst to join the team to provide a range of complex analytical services and solutions across various aspects of the student lifecycle and core operations of the University. This primarily includes administering the University’s student management system and other systems which support the University’s operations, as well as identifying process improvement needs, assessing the impact of changes, undertaking process modelling, capturing/documenting requirements and ensuring that requirements are delivered whilst supporting the business through the implementation and change process. Your high-level analyst expertise will enable business decision making and assist with the delivery of operating and performance improvements, strategic projects and planning and new initiatives.
This role will include the provision of expertise and support for:

Configuring the Callista student management system to support business processes and activities that relate to the administrative and operational processes across the student lifecycle, this includes; financial and government data reporting, system integrations, system security, role management and scholarships. It may also include; course structure and planning, admission, enrolment, course progression, result publication and graduation

Driving an environment of best practice, continuous review and improvement

Investigating and resolving user issues for diverse user groups

Conducting data analysis and research to develop recommendations for management and key stakeholders

Overseeing continuous improvements and automation of business practices and tools, including drafting specifications to support enhancements

Maintaining the Callista system with regular patching, testing and configuration
About You
As our successful candidate, you will demonstrate prior experience in a similar analyst and/or business systems role with a high level of focus on Callista Student Management System, business analysis, innovation and process improvement. You will be a strategic thinker partnering with senior leaders to analyse and deliver results and provide strategic, expert advice, insight and guidance on strategies, initiatives and decisions.
