Monash University is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focussed Assistant Grants Officer (Applications) to join our high-performing Applications Team within the Monash Research Office.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the backbone of our grant application process, ensuring funding submissions meet compliance and eligibility standards, and providing timely, accurate advice to researchers across the university. Your work will directly contribute to the success of groundbreaking research projects that make a global impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Review draft funding applications utilizing your sharp eye for detail, eligibility and compliance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, aligned with our Service Charter.
- Provide clear and timely guidance to researchers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives which will enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to service excellence and collaborative teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with research funding bodies like ARC or NHMRC.
