The Opportunity

The Generator has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Project Officer!

The Project Officer at The Generator is the key coordinator of the entrepreneurial community at Monash University, supporting the planning and delivery of projects aimed at uplifting entrepreneurship and innovation at Monash through events, workshops and programs.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for supporting the coordination of the Generator community from the first point of contact with the Generator right through to becoming an active member of the community. This includes designing the customer experience, overseeing all enquiries, managing the onboarding process across our co-working space and programs and being the ‘go to’ person for supporting community members. Additionally, you will support the planning, management and delivery of activation events, our startup programs as well as, activities led by Student Experience Portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
