The Opportunity
Monash Retail is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor. The Retail Supervisor will be responsible for supervising casual staff; transacting sales; coordinating merchandising and promotion activities and assisting with stock control and the daily receipt of goods. In addition, the position is responsible for providing a reliable and efficient service, assisting with stock purchasing and replenishment, accurate receipting of goods, shelf packing, stock-takes, pricing, gross margins, markdowns and write/offs.
To be successful in the role you will have:

Experience in a fast-paced Supermarket or Retail environment with a hands-on approach

Experience using a Point of Sale system such as WorldSmart and demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes

Sound organisational skills, including the ability to manage time, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Experience in purchasing stock from suppliers and replenishing stock

Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as independently under broad supervision

Ability to undertake shift supervision
