The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Industry Experience Officer to join our Rich Experiences team. In this exciting role, you will coordinate the placement process for interns, ensuring smooth coordination between host companies and participants. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging host companies, matching interns with suitable placements, and overseeing the entire internship cycle. This includes ensuring that all administrative, compliance, and training requirements are met for each placement.

As an Industry Experience Officer, you will assess applicants through documentation and interviews to ensure their skills align with host company needs. You will maintain ongoing communication with both interns and host companies, monitoring progress through regular check-ins and addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, you will proactively source new placement opportunities, ensuring host companies are fully informed of their responsibilities, including OHS and compliance obligations. Your role will also involve managing data and records in line with privacy and security requirements, contributing to the overall success of the internship program.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in organising student placements and building strong relationships with new and existing stakeholders. You will demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage processes efficiently and meet deadlines. A customer-focused mindset, paired with strong problem-solving and communication skills, is essential. The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team will also ensure success in this role.
