The Opportunity

English Connect has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior English Connect Coordinator.

The Senior English Connect Coordinator leads and designs a program of English Language activities including program design, writing teaching material, training and mentoring facilitators, providing reporting, and running events, as well as providing specialist advice that contributes to the advancement of the area’s objectives.

As the successful candidate you will work as part of a team and be responsible for co-leading program design and delivery of English language experiences and activities in accordance with University policies, procedures and strategic priorities. Additionally, you will create, develop and consistently improve activities such as creating and delivering staff training; implementing innovative approaches to providing students with English language and intercultural tools both online and face-to-face and; design and implement program evaluation instruments.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
