The Opportunity
Join the Monash Centre for Scholarship in Health Education (MCSHE) as a Senior Lecturer and contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of professional development programs and micro-credentials in health science education. This position plays a key role in advancing the faculty’s strategy to strengthen educational practice and improve student learning outcomes across health disciplines, with opportunities to be actively involved in course development, teaching and academic mentoring.
This position involves designing and delivering lectures, seminars and workshops, as well as supervising honours and postgraduate coursework students. It also includes overseeing major student research projects and contributing to research activities that strengthen MCSHE’s scholarly output. The Senior Lecturer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the Centre’s development and research priorities, including contributing to the preparation of research funding applications.
We are seeking a candidate with a doctoral or master’s qualification in a relevant field and a proven track record of teaching in a tertiary education setting. The role requires demonstrated experience in curriculum development, student engagement and education research. Strong skills in statistical or qualitative analysis, manuscript preparation and the ability to work collaboratively across education and service sectors are essential to succeed in this position.
