The Opportunity

Monash University Publishing has an exciting opportunity for a talented and energised sales coordinator. If you’re working in a similar role within publishing or have retail experience and a desire to work for an expanding and respected university publisher, we’d love to hear from you.

Reporting to the director, in this crucial role you would provide administrative support related to stock and sales, as well as coordinating our annual royalties cycle and fostering relationships with our key sales contacts, including distributors, booksellers and groups within Monash University. You will have a proactive approach to building relationships and seeking out sales opportunities for titles, as well as taking a lead in coordinating sales and royalties data. Experience with metadata, Booksonix and/or author royalty statements would be an advantage.

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic university publisher and lead sales growth.

This position is based at the Clayton campus. Flexible work arrangements are available in line with Monash’s flexible work guidelines.
