The Opportunity
The Faculty of Education is excited to invite an accomplished and forward-thinking Professor in Educational Psychology to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our faculty, you will inspire and drive high-quality research, teaching, and professional initiatives that resonate locally and globally. You will play a key role in securing competitive research funding, advancing internationally recognised research, and nurturing the next generation of scholars by supervising and mentoring PhD candidates.
This role offers a unique platform for a proven leader to contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of our programs, ensuring the highest standards in research and education. You’ll work collaboratively to cultivate a vibrant research culture and support your colleagues in reaching their full potential.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline and an outstanding publication record.
- An internationally recognised research profile with a proven ability to secure competitive research grants.
- A demonstrated capacity to lead and mentor academic staff and research candidates effectively.
- A collaborative and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to influence and inspire across the University and beyond.
General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (or equivalent), and ideally an area of practice endorsement in Educational & Developmental Psychology is highly desirable.
