The Opportunity
We are seeking a HR Officer to join Monash HR’s Business Support team on a fixed-term period until 30 September 2026. As a HR Officer you’ll be part of a dedicated group that delivers high‑quality, timely and accurate HR services across the University. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing team that supports the full employment lifecycle for both academic and professional staff.
The Responsibilities
HR Business Support works with a collaborative team approach to provide HR and employee lifecycle support across the university - from visitors, adjuncts and fixed-term contract renewals to employment checks (Police, Finance and Working with Children's Checks), coordinating complex form/entitlement processes and much more.
As a HR Officer in Business Support, you will be responsible for supporting fixed-term contract renewals, as well as working and providing advice across a range of HR operational processes and appointments. We will support you with all the training you need to become an expert in the employee lifecycle.
