The Opportunity

Join the Research and Graduate Research Services Team in the Faculty of Information Technology and play a pivotal role in supporting the end to end delivery of projects that support research excellence and strategic engagement.

As the Senior Engagement and Project Officer you will be a key liaison point between the project team, wider portfolio, University and internal and external client groups. You’ll ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.

Working closely with the Group Manager Research and Graduate Research, you will develop project documentation, updates and reports, and provide expert administrative and coordination support to support project objectives. You’ll also lead liaison and engagement activities with government, industry, business and university stakeholders at the research‑practice‑policy interface.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate high-level project activities, working with stakeholders to scope and plan project deliverables and ensure timely delivery of outcomes

  • Serve as a central liaison point for internal and external stakeholders

  • Prepare position papers, briefings, reports and presentations for a range of audiences

  • Coordinate external industry engagement activities by initiating and progressing partner interactions
