The Opportunity
The Faculty of Science is seeking a motivated and emerging researcher to join a project integrating global and local historical data to better understand physical environment–biodiversity relationships and change in the Antarctic region.
You will contribute to Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future (SAEF) and the School of Biological Sciences research outcomes that generate new evidence to inform biodiversity policy for Antarctica.
Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will help build a richer understanding of how environmental change shapes biodiversity patterns over time, supporting policy development in one of the world’s most sensitive and rapidly changing ecosystems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career researcher looking to deepen their skills, expand their research portfolio, and contribute to work with real‑world environmental and policy significance.
