About Us

Monash Law Clinics are dedicated to providing a range of community legal services and programs. Our services are conducted by experienced legal practitioners and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate law students. We aim to demonstrate the Faculty's professional capability and community commitment while offering students valuable clinical experience in professional practice. Our clinics include Monash Law Clinic - Clayton, Monash Law Clinic - Melbourne CBD, and Springvale Monash Legal Service.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team on a continuing full time basis that will work across Clayton and CBD locations. The role may be required to move between the two locations from time to time for training and staff coverage.

In this role, you will provide professional reception and client service duties, as well as administrative assistance and office support to the Director of Monash Law Clinics and other team members. Your responsibilities will include fielding calls, scheduling appointments, triaging legal service requests, and providing administrative support for legal clinics and projects.

You are a dedicated professional with excellent front-line reception and administration skills. Your polished  written and verbal communication skills enable you to interact with a diverse range of clients and resolve issues positively. You are highly organised, able to set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines, whilst your demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, and uphold strict confidentiality, make you a valuable asset to our team.
