The Opportunity
The Level A Research Fellow will contribute to the research efforts of the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, with a specific focus on advancing a cutting-edge research program in cortical vision prostheses. This multidisciplinary program aims to develop neurotechnological solutions to restore visual perception in individuals with profound vision loss.
The appointee will work closely with Professor Yan Wong and collaborators across engineering, neuroscience, and clinical domains to design, execute, and analyse acute electrophysiological experiments. The role is pivotal in supporting the evaluation and refinement of cortical stimulation strategies and developing novel insights into systems neuroscience.
