The Opportunity
Monash University is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Change Manager to be part of the Change function for the Rostering, Time and Attendance Transformation Project.
The Senior Change Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy for end-to-end delivery of high impact change programs in response to strategic business requirements, supporting their transition into business as usual activity. This includes managing change readiness and change impact assessment and planning the approach to each change, developing communication and training plans and managing change risks, issues and dependencies. Critical to the success of the role is the ability to create and sustain effecting working partnerships and coordinate change activities for business stakeholders and technical, project management and delivery leaders, creating an ecosystem for effective program driven change.
The Senior Change Manager also provides input into strengthening the change capability and embedding best practices within the relevant portfolio {and across the University}. This requires staying abreast of emerging practices and principles, implementing innovative approaches and encouraging adoption of recommended models and methods to support the behavioural, cultural and associated changes essential to embedding new target state tools, practices, processes and day-to-day operational activities associated with high impact change.
To be successful in this role the eligible candidate will have:
- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies coupled with a proven record of successfully implementing sustained change in large and complex organisations using excellent facilitation skills with the ability to create effective presentations and learning forums incorporating design thinking, innovation and visualisation
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines with significant experience in leading, motivating and developing a team of professionals to achieve project objectives
- Superior analytical, evaluation and research skills including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information and deliver positive, innovative solutions
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of consultation, negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution and including the ability to develop professional and effective communications for a range of audiences
