Alfred Health Emergency cares for the local communities of Southern and Bayside Melbourne and the broader Victorian community via a large number of statewide clinical services. It delivers patient care through two campuses: The Alfred Eva and Les Erdi Emergency & Trauma Centre (E&TC) and Sandringham Hospital Emergency Department (SH ED). Together these two sites see and treat over 110,000 patients per annum.

As Associate Professor/ Professor of Emergency Nursing, you will provide strategic and research leadership, driving progress in emergency care through impactful research, community engagement, and collaborative partnerships. You’ll lead a dynamic team, support students and staff, and contribute to the global healthcare agenda.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A leading authority in emergency care research with a doctoral qualification and a strong publication record
  • Proven experience in securing research funding and leading large, interdisciplinary research projects
  • A registered nurse with the vision to shape the future of nursing and cancer care

To be considered for this position the successful applicant must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
