We’re looking for an experienced Adviser – People & Development, to support meaningful people initiatives and deliver practical, impactful and effective solutions across the organisation.

About the role: In this advisory role, you’ll support the delivery key organisational and business unit people initiatives while providing quality guidance on day‑to‑day and project-based People & Development matters. You’ll work with leaders and teams to turn strategy into real outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of people initiatives aligned with organisational priorities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to co‑design and implement tailored people solutions
- Monitoring and evaluating People & Development programs to support continuous improvement
- Contributing to policy development and workforce planning activities
- Working flexibly across partnering and specialist teams as priorities evolve

About you
You’re a capable and confident HR professional who builds rapport easily, provides practical advice, and enjoys working through people‑related challenges.
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
- Experience in Human Resources, ideally with exposure to business partnering or a specialist area (e.g. leadership, remuneration, talent, OD or ER)
- Experience in managing HR related projects and initiatives.
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment (desirable)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support complex workstreams
- Strong relationship‑building skills and a collaborative approach

- Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills
- Ability to analyse and simplify complex information
- Confidence using data and technology to inform decision making
