We’re looking for an experienced Senior Adviser – People & Development to lead complex people initiatives, and deliver practical, high impact solutions that make a real difference.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys working at both a strategic and hands on level, influencing outcomes across the enterprise.
About the role: In this senior advisory role, you’ll manage the execution of strategic organisational and business unit initiatives and provide specialist input and deliver a broad range of People & Development priorities. You’ll work in close partnership with leaders and teams, helping translate strategy into action while mentoring and supporting People Advisers along the way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the delivery of strategic people initiatives aligned to organisational priorities
- Partner with business unit leaders to codesign and deliver tailored people solutions
- Monitor and evaluate People & Development programs to drive continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide People Advisers to ensure consistent, high quality delivery
- Contribute to policy development and strategic workforce planning
- Working flexibly across partnering and specialist teams as priorities shift

You’re a confident, credible HR professional who builds trust quickly and enjoys solving complex people challenges.
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
- 8+ years’ experience in Human Resources, ideally with business partnering or a specialist background
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex workstreams
- Strong relationship building skills and a collaborative mindset

- Solutions focused, continuous improvement approach
- Strong coaching, influencing, presentation and listening skills
- Ability to analyse and simplify complex information
- Systems thinking and confidence using data and technology to inform decisions
- Empathy, approachability and resilience in changing environments
