Our Works Planning team has a permanent full-time opportunity based in Rockhampton. As an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor, you’ll drive the implementation of a centralised planning structure while coaching and mentoring your team to lift performance and deliver strong business outcomes. 

You’ll work with people who are committed to achieving team goals and ensuring Network Operations plans are executed safely and efficiently. This role suits someone who thinks ahead, spots process improvements early, and brings an agile mindset to planning, problem solving and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the development of planning and scheduling processes that support the centralised planning structure model and the ongoing enhancement of the maintenance management system. 

  • Lead your team to deliver quality, executable maintenance plans in alignment to business processes and expectations 

  • Ensure the continued capability development of stakeholders and be the knowledge expert in planning matters including best practice methodology, governance, implementation strategies and continuous improvement processes. 

  • Lead the implementation of accountabilities and decision rights that support centralised planning processes. 

  • Liaise with all customers to ensure their requirements for delivery of works is supported. 

  • Provide coaching and mentoring across the team to develop, grow and support others 

  • Planning corrective and renewal works aligned to strategies 

   

About you: 

 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Preferred supply chain knowledge. 

  • Sound knowledge of modelling concepts and systems (SAP). 

  • 5+ years' experience working in supply chain (preferred, not mandatory) 

 

Specific Skills: 

 

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in planning management systems (SAP preferable) and Microsoft office 

  • Strong written and verbal communication. 

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain effective working and professional relationships 

  • Demonstrated ability to performance manage, support prioritisation and delegation 

  • Proven ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop robust solutions.
