About the Role

As an Operations Coordinator you will effectively coordinate the traincrew and yard operations, ensuring cost effective deployment of resources while maintaining a high level of customer service.

  • Coordinate daily traincrew and yard operations
  • Ensure cost-effective use of resources and timely delivery
  • Be an integral part of the Kwinana Leadership Team
  • Oversee the movement of rolling stock and execution of the yard plan

You will:

  • Direct and manage allocation and utilisation of resources
  • Develop and improve systems to enhance supply chain performance
  • Lead and coach your team with clear goals and continuous improvement focus
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

(Responsibilities may evolve over time as operations grow.)

About You

You’re someone who brings:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Train Driving and/or Shunt qualifications (preferred – training provided)
  • Cert IV/Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Experience in yard operations or heavy industry logistics
  • Proven frontline leadership experience (highly regarded)
