We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Terminal Operations Coordinator to support the day to day running of our terminal in Forrestfield. This role is central to ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while meeting customer and business requirements.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Supporting and coaching team members to achieve performance goals
• Building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and customers
• Deploying terminal resources to optimise productivity and meet customer expectations. specifically on time performance and truck turn times
• Ensuring train services are planned efficiently
• Support reporting, record keeping, and incident investigations.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance service and efficiency
• Overseeing maintenance schedules for terminal plant and equipment

About you

• Experience in terminal, port, logistics, or transport operations (preferred but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using operational systems.
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer service.
