What does the job look like?
We are seeking a Safety and Compliance Manager to support a major NSW transport operation. This hands-on role will see you working across multiple sites, partnering with operational teams to improve safety performance, manage risk and drive continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to influence outcomes across a large, complex network while building strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders. Key areas:
- Lead incident investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Conduct audits, site inspections and compliance reviews across multiple sites
- Analyse safety and compliance performance to identify trends and risks
- Provide advice on transport safety, compliance and risk management practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety outcomes
- Build strong relationships with operational teams and customer stakeholders
Are you the one?
You are a practical safety professional who enjoys working in operational environments and influencing positive outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement. You can demonstrate:
- Experience within transport operations or large multi-site environments
- Strong safety and compliance background
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
- Experience leading audits, investigations and corrective actions
- Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance
- Ability to build relationships and influence operational teams
