What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal have multiple opportunities for experienced HC Drivers to join our Intermodal team based in Kewdale, WA. Working within our rail operations, you'll transport containerised freight between rail terminals, distribution centres, customer sites and regional locations, helping deliver essential goods safely and efficiently across the network.

These are permanent, full-time opportunities on afternoon shift, working Monday - Friday from 2:00pm - 10:00pm + overtime opportunities and the chance to build a long-term career with one of Australia's leading logistics providers. Key areas:

  • Safely transport containerised freight between rail terminals, distribution centres, customer sites and regional locations
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Linfox Safety Standards and Vision Zero every day
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks
  • Comply with Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedures
  • Assist with loading and unloading activities when required
  • Maintain compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements and road transport legislation
  • Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and operational teams

Are you the one?

We're looking for professional drivers who take pride in delivering safely, working as part of a team and providing exceptional service. You can demonstrate:
  • Current and valid HC Licence
  • Experience transporting containerised freight throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA
  • Strong understanding of road transport legislation and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Commitment to safe work practices and customer service excellence
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Rail terminal experience will be highly regarded, however training can be provided for the right candidate
